To ensure the safety of children and vulnerable people in our communities, the Anglican Church Diocese of Sydney, in conjunction with the Anglican Church of Australia, will: Carefully recruit and train its clergy and church workers; Adopt and encourage safe ministry practices by its clergy and church workers; Respond promptly to each concern raised about the behaviour of its clergy and church workers; Offer pastoral support to any person who has suffered abuse; and, Provide supervision of and pastoral accountability (within the context of the ministries, locations and activities of the parish) to any person (who is a member of a congregation and) who is known to have abused a child or another vulnerable person. Everyday english Classes English as a Second Language Le arn English with friends! WHEN: every Wednesday during school term, 10 am to 12 noon. WHERE: St Alban's main hall No need to register beforehand, or to have been to previous classes - just come along at 10am. All are welcome to these English Classes, whatever their language backgrounds. The classes cater to beginners and more advanced learners. Students will learn how to speak, read and write English, learn about everyday life in Australia, meet others and join in social activities. We have volunteers at morning tea who will have one-to-one conversations with learners. A gold coin donation towards morning tea and the resources provided would be appreciated.
